Three focus groups provided valuable input on the Firm Foundations: Creation to Christ curriculum. The main focus was on organization and layout, but they offered much more than that.
Four of us who have been on the development team attended. We sat behind a two-way mirror. The participants around the table on the other side of the glass only saw a mirror, but we could see them and hear all they said.
The best words to describe the experience are INTENSIVE and INFORMATIVE.
David, the facilitator, will be reviewing all the data – from the participants’ notes to the DVD recording – and submitting his report to us on July 3rd. In the meantime, I’m going to type up my 20 pages of scribbled notes, and try to process it all.
- Pray for me to be able to sort through all those ideas.
- Pray for unity as the revision team evaluates what changes to make based on the input from the focus groups.
