Black and Blue

The labtop computer screen was half black and half blue. The system was out of warrenty.

Alan usually handles repairs, but he’s been out of the office for a few weeks.  So Dave and Marty got to investigate this problem.

Diagnosis?  A video card had gone bad.

Solution?  Put in a used one from an old system.

Older computers need older parts that are no longer available commercially. So Dave and his co-workers save parts from “retired” computers just for cases like this.
