Spicy salad and sweet fellowship

October 6, 2010 by Dave and Ruth Brendle

It was a power-lunch!

Bill has been the artist for our chronological revision project and other chronological projects, but I’d never met him. So when he and his wife, Shirley, were going to be in town, I invited them and several others who work closely with him for lunch.

We had spicy taco salad… and sweet fellowship.

Bill and Shirley had not yet seen the published Firm Foundations: Creation to Christ, so they hadn’t seen Bill’s art in print.  They were so delighted, and their enthusiasm was energizing.

We discussed upcoming projects, and projects yet to be finished.

  • Pray as we put a push on finishing the Firm Foundations books.
  • Pray for Bill, who in his retirement years, is devoting his artistic energy to this project.
  • And pray for me as I coordinate Bill’s efforts and communicate with him and others on the team.
