Miles from medical help

Dave talked with the Bible teachers in the village this week.  They are doing well and continue on faithfully in teaching God’s Word and literacy, but there are many that are sick in the village.  Measles has been a real problem recently here in PNG and it seems that it has made its way to the Ivanga area.  Many are very sick and there’s no medical help for at least a day’s travel.   Please pray for those that are sick to recover and that soon a couple of men would be able to travel to our mission center to spend 2-3 weeks working on translation.  The men desire to come and work with Shirley and I, but do not want to leave sick family members behind.
Shirley continues to prepare material for when they come this way, but it would be a huge help if they could come soon.
