We desperately need to get our footing in understanding that the local church is where we need to educate missionally and build foundations there. If we can assist the church in recognizing and understanding that it is solely her duty to pray for laborers and to help her step into the role of preparing those with potential to serve in missions then we will have a pool of qualified individuals from which we can challenge to the task and then train to be cross-cultural disciple makers among the nations.
The church’s foundation is Christ. If we strategically engage the church from that standpoint and help them develop vision in her people at an early age, then we will see the fruit of our labor resulting in those who will ‘go’ in the years to come.
As I’ve always said… you can’t build a house by putting on the roof first; you need to build a structure. …And that structure needs foundations. We’re shooting ourselves in the foot when we stray from following the Master Builders Plan.
We are here to help the church engage in this endeavor. It’s what we do.
