Our personal letters and newsletters over the previous 5 years often included prayer requests for Judith’s general health. Her energy level seemed to be declining steadily and her “symptoms” were varied with little apparent connections. Many Dr. visits over those years only brought symptom treatments with no actual cause found.
February found Judith with more symptoms and a lot of back pain, so we changed doctors again. In June she seemed to suffer a stroke but tests revealed a mass on her brain that needed to be removed. The first week in August she had successful brain surgery only to be told the mass was advanced cancer that came from her pancreas. Further results revealed this to be in the final stages. She recovered from the brain surgery but the pancreatic cancer sent her home to be with the Lord in October.
