Update On Gwandambi

August 8, 2012 by David and Shari Ogg

Thanks for praying! Thanks for praying for Gwandambi. There was a little improvement already in his leg overnight and we woke up to a beautiful sunny morning! So the planes made it in and one of them was able to take him out to the hospital. Pray he gets the full treatment he needs at the town hospital. We’ve been told he may need up to 6 weeks of treatment and if it is cut short then it could flare up again and be more resistant to treatment. We just wanted to thank you for praying and we’ll let you know when he hear more about his progress.

The two planes brought in a team from GBC in California to minister to the Simbari believers and to help with some repairs to our houses here in the village. As I type this some of the team are gathered in a thatched hut and are singing together with the Simbari believers. What an encouragement to the Simbari church and to our team to have these dear ones come and pick up the load and carry it with us for a while. Thanks again for praying.
