A couple weeks ago we traveled to Ohio for the wedding of our last born, Jason to Geordan Turske. We rented an Airbnb nearby for the Ogg clan to stay in together and enjoyed a very special week leading up to the wedding. We didn’t do much more than just hang out together but that was what made it so great!
Jason and Geordan were married on August 8th at Geordan’s church in Ashland, Ohio. It was a beautiful ceremony and it was very special that so many of the family were able to make it to the wedding. Pray with us that God will bless Jason and Geordan as they begin their life as a married couple seeking to honor God with their lives. Next week they resume classes at Ethnos360 Bible Institute. If you would like to help them with their school fees you can give a gift here: https://e360bible.org/student-payments/
We quarantined again after travelling back from Ohio and have continued making progress on translation work. Shari finished her Sunday school Bible lesson book and is now checking it over. David continues proofreading the Simbari New Testament and is just about done with Romans which is 65% complete.
We are also excited to share that recently Bible teaching has been underway in 3 new people groups in PNG. Amdu, Pei and Wantakia. The Wantakia group borders the Simbari and we were able to help the team in the early days of their language study. What a joy that each of these language groups now have people who know and trust in Jesus as their Savior!
Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
