March 1991 Enroute To PNG & Expecting Baby

March 20, 1991 by David and Shari Ogg

Another Baby!

Yes, the Giver of Life is giving us another child. The expected date of arrival is Sept. 30. We are so thankful for Shari’s health being so much better during this pregnancy. She is usually sick until around noon and then feels better the rest of the day. Please pray for the health and protection of mother and child.

David’s Eye Surgery

It has been 2 months since I underwent surgery on both of my eyes and I continue to thank God for the success that it was. It has not been necessary for me to wear glasses since the operation. All the bills were taken care of for us, Praise the Lord! My eyes have healed very well and so far it looks like I will not need to wear glasses at all! Thank you for praying.

Needs

Please pray that our monthly financial support will increase. We are at 25% of the recommended amount for living in Papua New Guinea. Also we still are in need of funds for shipping our belongings to the field and buying plane tickets. Please pray about these needs.

Progress Towards Papua New Guinea

We are packing barrels, getting background clearances, physical exams and lots of paperwork. Application for visas is next. By faith we have set a departure date of June 5, 1991.

NOTE: We now have an account with the mission, please send all ministry contributions to the mission designated for us (we receive 100%) so you can be issued a tax-deductable receipt.
