It was a beautiful fall day last Wednesday when our friend Mabel showed up to spend three days with us. Mabel serves the Lord in Hawaii. Yes, I know I’d like to be a missionary in Hawaii too. From rising in the morning until bedtime at night Mabel delighted us with her presence, she is someone I aspire to be like. The kids loved her. Thank you Mabel for your love and generosity.

Saturday was cool with occasional sprinkle showers and patches of sunshine. One year ago I was laboring and delivering Mariah AnneMarie Hess. She is just too cute for words. Happy birthday my No.3 princess.
On Monday, we had friends over to share supper with us, we had a good time of fellowship. The cake for dessert was on the counter minding it’s own business when along came Levi, he climbed up on the counter, he stood on the cake and then sat on it. Luckily I had ice cream as a back up for dessert.
Today we got a lot done on partnership development because the 3 older kids are all in school on Mondays and Tuesdays. Dean worked up at New Tribes on Monday and he’ll be there again Wednesday and Thursday.

A friend will babysit for us on Friday morning so we can concentrate on partnership development for three hours. Pizza and movie night Friday evening, Yahoo! (the kids really look forward to this). Sunday we’ve invited friends over for lunch after church. They want to see our presentation so we are excited to share that with them.
Please pray that God will raise up the support we need to return to Senegal. Thank you for praying for us. God Bless you.
