What is a Valentine? A token of love.

February 23, 2011 by Dean Hess

February is known for being the ‘Valentines Day’ month.

Dean and I attended a ‘Valentines dinner and movie night ‘ at our church. When we heard that they were offering free child care for children 10 and under we could not resist the offer. Unfortunately the little bit of romance we had did not help Dean with his neck pain. He went to see another Doctor who has put him on medicine and given him some exercises to do. He is also on a diet because he was tested recently and the results showed he has high cholesterol. Dean said, “Do you know what a diet is? It’s DIE with a T.” I, Tuti admitted that I needed to see a Doctor for some health issues as well. I’m now seeing an OB GYN. We are pleased with our kids – Carissa is doing fantastic in school. Veronica is making good progress in Kindergarten with her sight words and alphabet letter recognition and sounds. Levi is now potty trained. In Pre-K he is learning his letters, shapes and colors and he can write his name independently. Then last but not least little Mariah is almost 2 and a half and she is now in a toddler bed.

I had to share these tokens of love art with you all. The first is by Carissa and the second is by Veronica.
