Thank you so much for praying for us during our month-long ministry travels. We are so thankful for safety during almost 7,000 miles on the road from June 5 to July 3. We got to visit friends, family, supporters, and churches in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado. So many amazing people opened their homes to us all along the way. We are blessed.
We got home late in the evening on the 3rd. It is really good to be home. Right now we’re concentrating on unpacking and getting moved back into the house, spending time with my (Jennifer’s) grandmother and parents, enjoying the beautiful Nueces river by swimming every day, and planning for the things we need to accomplish between now and when the kids start school here on August 24.
This week we’ll start dentist appointments for all of us. Please be praying for DJ and Tyndale especially since both of them have problems with their teeth. Tyndale has been referred to a specialist and has an appointment for the 15th. DJ has several teeth that are crumbling away, one of which is causing him quite a lot of pain now. He has an appointment for the 8th.
Later this month we’re planning a quick trip to Houston for a couple nights to see some friends and take the kids to their first baseball game. 🙂 Then next month we’ll have DJ’s sister Becky and our niece Sarah coming to visit and a lady from NTM coming to do educational testing for Areli and Galilee. The weeks in between those things seem to be quickly filling up as well. We’d appreciate prayers for good planning on our part so that everything can get accomplished with as little stress as possible.
