Thank you so much for praying for our trip to visit supporters this summer! We returned to south Texas on Aug. 12 after 8 weeks, 9,900 miles, and 28 different “beds.” A huge thank you to every person who hosted us, gave to us, met up for a visit, or otherwise lavished us with blessings during this trip.
The kids started school on Aug. 19, a week after we finished our trip. They are experiencing some culture shock and some stress related to figuring out new teachers, classmates, and classes, but overall seem to be adjusting well. Please keep praying for them–they’ve been through a lot in the past few years. Tyndale is still having some joint pains and spots on his skin as well.
We are so incredibly thankful to be home and are now settling in and beginning to work through the long list of doctor and dentist appointments, repair projects around the place where we’re staying, etc. DJ has been cutting cedar with my dad some too.
Since we’ve been home, we’ve already been blessed by visits from two different dear friends, one whom we know from our field of ministry (a fellow missionary) and one whom we know through my sister. Both visits were a big encouragement.
Thank you all so much for praying for us. God bless you all.
