Thank you so much for praying for DJ and Tyndale’s trip. They got back home to Texas safely in the wee hours of the morning on August 10. We are very thankful to have them back here with us! The trip went well and they were able to reconnect with a lot of our brothers and sisters in Christ on that side of the world. After they got home, DJ jumped right back into his IT ministry helping to manage wireless networks for the US home office and training centers and Tyndale went back to school to start his sophomore year of high school. Tyndale is looking forward to being involved in FFA agricultural competitions again this year.

Galilee passed the last of four GED exams last week and has a high school equivalency diploma now. Galilee keeps a migraine journal and has seen the frequency of migraines drop from 90-some percent to 70-some percent of the time since starting Botox treatments. We’re thankful for this improvement, but obviously having migraines over 70 percent of the time still has a significant impact on ability to function. Thanks so much for praying, and please continue.

Tomorrow Areli plans to move into her dorm in Uvalde so she will have a few days to settle in before classes start on Monday. Areli will have one semester of finishing prerequisite classes before starting the nursing program. We appreciate prayers for her (and us!) as she adjusts to college and living on her own. We’re very thankful that she’s close enough to still come home on the weekends.

Jennifer has recently gotten busier with edits to the culture & language learning activity chapters as our team pushes to get the program as finished as possible, even while knowing that more changes will be made in the future as learners and consultants use the program and find areas for improvement. Jennifer will also be busy overseeing 4 evaluations from a distance next month.

Thanks so much for praying for us. We’d love to know how we can pray for you too. God bless you all.
