Epos Roan.docx We have been so tremendously blessed by Roan this year who has helped with the home schooling – and many extra-curricular activities too! The input from someone from outside was just what our kids needed and it gave Nadia (who only taught Afrikaans as subject) the necessary time to work on the development of the literacy material. We still had our kids close at home, but shared the responsibility of our kids schooling with a teacher who loves the Lord and children!
The first 4 months of next year will be more busy than ever with the continuation of the translation of two teacher’s manuals and the preparation and teaching of literacy (possible two classes a day, 4 days a week). Nadia, although still having to use heart medication, is much stronger physically (praise the Lord!), but teaching our kids from 7:30 to 12 each day, and Mwinika from 14h-18h (if I teach two classes a day) plus preparation for the teaching, plus translation of the manuals… seems a bit impossible! We (Nadia and Elin) also wanted to be present at the Bible teaching classes as we most probably will have to re-teach some of the content to the older women.
Please pray with us for a Christian teacher to help with the home schooling of our kids from January to April 2011.
