Abu’s grandmother

March 25, 2011 by Nadia Hattingh

This is a picture of Abu’s grandmother. Four of her daughters have died of Aids and several others have been diagnosed as HIV+. She is a gentle, kind old lady; caring for each dying child with devotion.

She is not hearing the teaching yet, although her one daughter is attending.

During the pre-evangelism phase, I remember telling her that God has a message for her personally! He wants to speak to her in her own language. Most people here are comforted and curious when we say this, but Granny looked worried. In fact, she looked down right panicked thinking that God may want to speak to her… Pray for her? Pray that she will meet her Saviour.
