Last week of Literacy Classes

June 22, 2011 by Nadia Hattingh

Written last week (June 13), but due to problems with our internet connection, this is going out late! See the update on the certificate ceremony coming soon…

This is the last week of this round of literacy classes! We thank the Lord for each student and teacher helper who came and learned to read and teach. Two of the students are eager to teach people in their own communities and religious groups and three more are ready to start classes of their own.

Pray for the literacy classes in the future! It is still difficult for the Mwinika to be motivated to learn until they have enough of the Word to see the benefit of all the hard work. Even more so, they need to know that God wants to speak to them through His Word.
