Phase 2 Bible Lessons

July 13, 2012 by Nadia Hattingh

Francois and the four Mwinika men who are busy with the development of the Phase 2 Bible material. On Fridays, if they have been able to complete the work for the week, they translate other material that can be used as post-literacy reading material. Francois and two men are working on material about nutrition, while the other two are editing already translated material.

Francois is working away with four Mwinika believers on the Phase 2 Chronological Teaching Bible Lessons!

We would appreciate your prayers for each of these guys and their families: Amer, Friday, Salim and Black Hand*. Of the four, only Salim’s wife confesses a belief in Christ.

The Phase 2 Chron Teaching Lessons are to be presented to those who already confess a belief in Christ, starting again in Genesis going carefully through the Word showing clearly what Scriptures point to the Messiah. It also addresses questions like: what does a Christian’s life look like? How do we “do” church?

Francois needs your prayers in knowing how to communicate God’s truths in such a way that our Mwinika friends can understand it. He and the 4 men are working together to make sure that the material communicates in a truly native way without watering down or twisting any of the Biblical truths. This is a real challenge!

* Not their real names.
