About what we do

October 9, 2012 by Nadia Hattingh

It was a real privilege and joy to listen to leaders of our mission from all over the world over the last few weeks. During the Africa Leadership Form we could hear about the direction the Lord is directing our mission. We are learning to see the Church, no matter how immature or weak, not only as our partners, but “one of us”. We therefore, includes all the believers and not only those from our mission or passport countries! Although there are still many unreached people groups in the world, few countries are untouched by the Gospel. It is through these local churches that we see ourselves reaching the unreached.

After that we had a week long Curriculum Development Workshop in which church planters from all over the world came to share their knowledge in developing the Chronological Bible lessons we teach. What Francois and his helpers have been doing is exactly what we need to do: not to translate the lessons, but develop them specifically for the language and culture that we work in.

Before these two weeks, the leaders of this field met – in all we have been away for three weeks!
