Images from the city

October 17, 2012 by Nadia Hattingh

Early morning traffic in the city. The road is so bad on this particular place, that there are no lanes: each driver simply goes where there are the least holes! 🙂

Late afternoon in the city centre.

It is images like this that makes us grateful again for living in the bush where we have space to breath and our kids a place to play!

Informal and formal shops on the same street corner.

Negotiating prices for jewellery to send back to Elin!

An artist with his carvings.

Selling and buying what?? 🙂 You can buy almost anything in this city… if you are not shy to buy second hand and take the time to look for it!
