This week we were visited by some of our leaders: Dan Rabe (NTM Africa) and Rafa and Isabel Mapa (NTM South East Africa). The visit was very encouraging! We were able to reflect on the work here, look at it from an “outside” perspective and pray together as we praise God for how far we have come, while we continue to face many challenges.
Since Francois and I have worked in Mozambique before NTM was established in this region, we have firsthand experience in being here without the support of a local team. We continue to marvel at the goodness of God in making us part of this work and this group of people. We are very blessed by the wisdom and support of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!
We are looking forward to our partner, Phil Henderson’s coming during this following week. He will be here almost a month to translate, together with his team of Mwinika helpers, as much as possible of the book of Romans. Pray with us for save travels and a very blessed and efficient time here! We are also thinking in our prayers of Elin, Callie and Elias who are staying behind in the States.
