2nd cycle teaching in three villages

November 20, 2013 by Nadia Hattingh

We are in the second week of the 2nd cycle teaching in our village! We praise the Lord for the people who are attending despite super hot temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius (100 F) and over! Please pray for these baby believers, the Mwinika teachers and their families.

The 2nd cycle teaching is continuing in our partners’ village too. That group was big enough that they have been able to split up into two house churches! However, the old enemy is trying to turn this victory into a disaster. Please pray for attendance in our partners’ village that seems to be going down. (Our partners will be on home assignment until next year August). Pray for faithfulness to God and his Word.

Francois has been discipling the Mwinika teachers to teach the 2nd cycle teaching material. They are doing very well! Pray for them as they must make the decision to commit themselves to another term of teaching. One guy already indicated that he does not want to continue to teach, although he continues to come to the teacher’s group meetings on Wednesday mornings. It has been a long year and the guys are tired. Pray for good rest over December and refreshed vision in the new year.
