Go you then and make disciples…

November 20, 2013 by Nadia Hattingh

I love this picture of Francois and his little “disciple”, Shatito! Shatito’s father died a few years ago (see earlier blog posts) and since then Francois has taken him under his wing. We often see Shatito at Francois’s side observing what he is doing, learning in the process. He went to the Bible teaching each day helping Francois to set things up – and is now professing Christ! He has learned to drive the “ambulance” and is learning this week to use the computer. Mostly he is learning about Christ, not just the words, but the Life.

Isn’t that what true discipleship is all about? Living life together. It reminds me of those famous words: “Preach Christ at all times. And if necessary, use words!”
