2014 Literacy classes to start soon!

May 31, 2014 by Nadia Hattingh

In June a Mwinika teacher that I have trained last year, will start his own Literacy class! He is from the few Mwinika that are Roman Catholic, but a believer. He will be teaching at his church.

In July Rasu will start with another Literacy class, but this time at the local “Christian” middle-eastern religion school! 🙂 He already has a long list of people that are interested, both believers and unbelievers. Please pray for both men and their students. (See another blog post on Rasu. He was diagnose this week as HIV+).

We are very hard at work to check, print and prepare all the necessary materials. Because we are so isolated, it is really difficult to get the paper, printer cartridges (more than R1000 each!!), card board, and much more here. (We used the last printer ink today.)

Our supply run – to bring in the necessary material as well as our food for the next few months – is being delayed… It may even be cancelled. Please pray!
