Mwinika Missionary Kids

August 4, 2014 by Nadia Hattingh

Abar and Liberty’s two little ones did well during the first few days of transition.

Happy moment… Another mementoes thing happened during their first weekend in a new location: Little Elsia gave her first steps right into Francois’s arms!

Their son, Nelson, is a shy but intelligent boy. He loves his dad!

The Mwinika people do not have domesticated animals to provide milk and are therefore not used to drinking it. Nelson however, loved our powdered milk!

Elsia baby-talk non-stop! She is energetic and very inquisitive. She soon decided that “kindergarden teacher-Nadia” is the best thing ever! 🙂 In this picture she wants Nadia to repeat the word for “mouth” in eMwinika.

We speak to Abar often via cell phone. He says it is going well with the Literacy teaching and that his family are doing very well. Praise the Lord! Pray with us that the Lord will keep his Hand over this young family as they live and work in this new location.
