Back home!

October 30, 2012 by Nadia Hattingh

Francois is back home after a flight, 14 hours on an African bus and 7 more hours on the back of an open truck!

The last trip was quite interesting as the further they went, the more people were added to the “load” until his legs was quite numb from being packed like a regular sardine :). It rained too – three times! – but Francois assured us that the wind on the back of the truck very quickly dried them again.

We took advantage of Friday being a local (kind of) holiday and Francois had time to rest, catch up on some emails and just visit with us! His had several visits from Mwinika friends over this weekend too. We all are glad he’s back!
