Pray for the Corn

March 16, 2014 by Gene and Carol Trudeau

The Manubu’ from our village have spent many days preparing land for corn fields and planting corn. The corn is sprouting wonderfully. But, they say that something – not clear if birds or rats – are pulling the corn seedling up as fast as they sprout. There is not much they can do about it. Even though there are various kinds of rat traps they have made in the past, they say their fields are too big to be able to control rats (if that is what is doing it) with traps. So please PRAY that the Lord will undertake for them and their corn fields won’t be devastated by whatever critters are doing it. These corn fields are both for food and income.
