New Year – New Opportunities to Trust God

January 23, 2026 by Geoff and Dar Gail McNabb

Back at the Beginning

Have you ever gotten off a rollercoaster and the thrill of the ride compels you to jump back in line again…

Last year at this time, we sent out an update sharing our need for new Financial Partners. We were quite short of our monthly goal for support, but knew that God had called us to this ministry here in FL. It has been an incredible journey this year to watch God provide and fill in the “gaps” – with everything from large one-time gifts, to someone buying us groceries. Jehovah Jireh! Praise the Lord!

To be quite honest, the rollercoaster of supported ministry can be taxing. I find myself dreading the task of sending out updates, worrying that people might question the validity of our ministry, or our commitment to it.

But recently as a family we have started reading a book about prayer and I have begun to change my perspective. In the Gospels we see Jesus regularly taking time for prayer – and encouraging his disciples in this as well. And then, GOD DOES MIRACLES.

I am mightily convinced that more than financial partners, we need PRAYER partners! This year as we are once again facing a shortfall in our support, will you join us in PRAYER?! Our all-powerful, all-knowing God is able to do far more than we even ask or think – and we want to invite you to join us on another “rollercoaster” year as we look to Him to provide.

Will you pray?
