Thank you so much for your prayers and interest in the Heckman Family over this past year. Here is an update on what we are all doing.
Have a blessed Holiday Season. What joy to know Christ Jesus is the HOPE of our hearts and the LIGHT of our lives.
George & Linda continue serving our NTM family around the world. In the Member Services Offices we handle a great deal of paperwork and issues that keep our missionaries on the field, and able to function. Missionary tracking, correspondence, and helping folks through transitions is our focus. Linda is directing the Christmas Cantata at our church this weekend. It’s titled “A THRILL OF HOPE” and we rejoice in the Hope we have in Christ! George is keeping track of our online bookstore and together we are making the “financial ends come closer together” at the end of the year, as well as being a provision for several families who work with us in this venture.
Amy & Hector are serving in Chihuahua Mexico. Hector is in Missions training, and Amy is taking care of the NTM guest facility. They both are involved in teaching English classes to several groups, as well as working with the youth/drama team at Hector’s church. Still no word on his visa to the US, so we won’t see them this Christmas, except via Skype. (We are so thankful for that link!)
Brett & Debby are serving in Palm Bay, Florida at Grace Bible Church. They have had a lot of changes this last year, but are seeing God faithful in providing for them and leading them. Chloe (4) and Lily (1.5) are doing great and growing fast!
Beka is still living at home and working night shifts as a lead paramedic for Volusia County EVAC. She is still writing and singing songs. She and her boyfriend Cody, sand at his church last night. She looks to go to Missions training “down the road” in the not too distant future.
David will graduate from NTBI this coming May. He plans a summer course in Colorado, and then trusts that the Lord will direct him in the way that he should go.
Tim is recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction. He is working at Taco bell in Sanford. He is planning on saving his money to go to NTBI next August, and perhaps for a new vehicle which is more economical.
Thanks so much for your prayer and partnership in our ministry over the years. We are blessed through your friendship. Thank you!
He is our HOPE,
George and Linda Heckman and Family
