We have been invited to join a church planting work! Some friends of ours who work in the south of Senegal have asked us to consider joining them and we have said a loud, “YES”! This is a work among the Joola who are related to Charles’ people group. They are also in the same region where he grew up. What a great idea for a Joola man to be used by God to evangelize an unreached group of people who are related to him in culture and language! We are also blessed to be joining a few believers who are there. Pray for God to guide us all in how we can best work together. There is no Bible in their language yet. Our German co-workers have to return to Europe for their children’s needs. They have offered to help us get started in language study first and then let us rent their house! A huge praise since we will not have to build and can get going in ministry as soon as we arrive!
