Sometimes there’s no good choice

August 18, 2009 by Ian and Julie Fallis

We face choices every day … but sometimes it seems like you don’t have a good one. Even when things seem obvious at first. And that seems to happen to missionaries overseas a bit more.

For example …

A missionary had a truckload of house-building supplies in a truck when he came to a river. There was a bridge … or he could ford the river. Well, of course he’d take the bridge, right? Take a look at the photos and guess which one he chose …

... or take the bridge
Take the bridge
Ford the river ...
... or ford the river?
Or how about this choice, encountered on a shopping trip:
Rice germs ...
Rice germs ...
... or used water?
... or used water?

Make good choices, and as much as possible, pass on the bad choices …
