A far cry from Mexico

What it looks like here when it’s not so cold …

As I’m writing this, the day is clawing its way toward a close – or is that me clawing at the keyboard?

Julie and I are in Pennsylvania. In November. Florida is warm. Pennsylvania is not. Really, really not.

We’re here because the men and women who represent New Tribes Mission in churches, on college campuses, in conferences and concerts and other place are gathered here this week for updates and refreshment. Also here are two of NTM’s primary leaders – Larry Brown, president of NTM USA, and Larry Goring, direction of our International Ministries Team.

What am I doing here? Well, besides freezing, I’m here to talk with our representatives about how we can work well together. Our Communications team is charged with more than just putting materials together for the representatives to use; we’re charged with distilling and presenting NTM’s message, visually and verbally. Our team’s preference is to foster teamwork by inspiring people to work with us and delivering quality products they want to use.

The better we can work together to use the message and develop the materials the representatives need – be that displays or brochures or websites or email blasts or apps – the more effective we’ll all be.

Please pray for Jerry Lehman and me as we make our presentation tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. today. Pray that we are clear and concise, and inspiring.
