Pray for the Philippines

December 5, 2014 by Ian and Julie Fallis

Last year, NTM teamed up with MAF and Helimission to bring aid to remote islands after Typhoon Haiyan.

I was just in a conference call this morning about what NTM’s response might be to the violent typhoon bearing down on the Philippines – heading for roughly the same area devastated by Typhoon Haiyan last year.

Our response will depend on the severity of the storm and whether our teams in the Philippines – specifically, our pilots and aircraft – can be of use. After Haiyan, we teamed up with MAF and Helimission to help a group of remote islands. If we’re needed, we’ll work with both those fine organizations again.

My initial role will be to give people opportunities to give online. We’ll see what happens next …

Please pray for the people of the Philippines, and pray that NTM can find ways to be a blessing and a help in the aftermath of the storm.
