Good news edition

June 27, 2013 by Ian and Julie Fallis

Good news on our vehicle

With my daughter and her family here from China for the summer, and our only vehicle being a 2-door subcompact, we had a problem. God provided through friends at church for them to rent a car for the summer. Thank you, folks, and thank you, Lord.

This means that all we need to do is cancel our family camping trip in July, and then we’re likely OK with our current vehicle until our next trip in October. We’ve received $1,200 toward a replacement.

Good news on our family

With our daughter and son-in-law and grandson here from China, our daughter Brynna brought over her daughter, Braelynn, to meet her cousin, Daniel. You can see photos on our blog:

Good news on our ministry

I was just talking with one of my co-workers about what I’m trying to get done today, and I made her feel overwhelmed. Well, I’d rather have too much to do than too little. (Not that I’ve ever had that problem.)

The good news is that we have three people on the way to join our team soon. Will you please pray for them as they make transitions and build their partnership teams?

Thanks for the role you play in our ministry by praying, giving and encouraging.
