In the land of lakes, badgers & cheese…

June 12, 2012 by Jack and Lael Crabtree

Lael got to catch up with our friend Jessy Marx at the cook out. Jessy's a teacher and is about to serve in Thailand for a year at a New Tribes MK school! Check out her blog right here on the NTM site!

Well, we just got back from a week in Wisconsin…and it was way too short! We got to stay with our friends, Mark and Marilyn Ford (and their beautiful cats…Lael was in heaven)! We also saw a ton of friends from Brooklife Church and got to worship in the new (well, it was new to us) building for the first time!

James and Abby Bartz also hosted a get together at their place for our whole house group! It was so awesome to see everyone and catch up! (and Lael’s pregnant belly thoroughly enjoyed the homemade pizza!

Nora found a new love in her life...frozen yogurt! All the yogurt shops have the same white plastic seats and bright colors...it's time for someone to break the mold...a goth yogurt shop? probably a bad idea....

Because we only had a week to spend up north and had many more people we wanted to see, we’re planning to come back up to Wisconsin in August! We’ll put up some dates as soon as we get it figured out!

Several friends also joined our monthly support team, which is such a huge blessing! Thank you guys so much for your faithfulness to pray and give sacrificially! We couldn’t do what we’re doing without you all!

Speaking of doing what we’re doing, our next blog will be an update on summer plans…and longterm plans! We finally have a country and a departure date!

More to come soon…
