Got Any Rivers

January 7, 2018 by Jack and Jane Housley

An old song we do not sing much these days but was embedded in my heart some 44 years ago as Janie and I was being discipled for missions in an old restored barn in upper PA goes something like this. “Got any rivers you think are uncrossable? Got any mountains you cannot tunnel through? God specialises in things thought impossible and He can do what no other power can do.”
Oh, all those rivers and the mountains that were so high and how our faith was tested in those early days. In faith and faith alone Janie and I along with many others looked to Jesus and He supplied boats and motors for the wild rivers and for the roughed mountains we could not tunnel through, He supplied a wonderful flight program to take us over the mountains and down into the steamy valleys below.
May I invite you to be a part of this great work that is being done around the world? Jesus’s request for us to pray for more labourers for the fields that are white still echoes through our churches today and Ethnos 360 is a good way to get there. Jack
