Many Blessings!

Easter, family, rain, snow, lobsters, friends, our apartment, ocean, fresh fish and rest are just some of the many blessings God has sent our way since we arrived home in Nova Scotia! And we are very excited to be able to tell ya’ll that we are expecting another child in October! We would appreciate your prayers for the little one and our family as we go through the pregnancy together and welcome our baby into our family!

We have been very encouraged with all that God has been teaching us over the last months as we have been traveling around. And now we are looking forward to more time to process and let things sink in, letting God apply things to our daily lives! So amazing that we have such a faithful God to teach us and work through us without our need to figure out how it all works or how it all will work! 🙂

Thank you all for praying for us as we settle into Nova Scotia life and share what God is doing in the Sepik of Papua New Guinea. Please let us know if you would like us to stop in for a visit while we are home. Or if you would like us to share in your church, small group or Sunday school class.

-Soon addition of another little one to our family! Healthy pregnancy so far!
-Enjoying time to settle down in Nova Scotia
-God who sent His Son to die for our sins and rose him up so that we could have daily life abundantly and REST in Him!
-Opportunities to visit so many friends, family and supporters on our road trip!
-Very beneficial and growing time at NTM of Canada in Ontario!
-Safety in traveling from Ontario to Nova Scotia
-Speaking opportunities already planned in Nova Scotia… to share about all that God is doing in the Sepik of Papua New Guinea!
-Our own cozy apartment!
-Jonathan loves living next door to his Nannie and Poppie here in Nova Scotia 
-Back in the Sepik, the Conference went well and all were encouraged!
-God’s continued provision for our needs moment by moment!

Prayer requests:
-Healthy baby and good pregnancy! Strength and wisdom each day!
-Ability to choose gratitude instead of our default of ingratitude in the circumstances of our daily lives.
-Rest in God as we enjoy being parents each day.
-Clarity of mind and speech as we share our ministries.
-Ability to rest and re-energize our spirits, minds and bodies over the next 5 months in Nova Scotia.
-God’s provision for full support in the next year. We are currently at a 70% support level.
-Healing of our friend, Elissa, so she can work full time in PNG.
-God would continue to raise up more missionaries to come to the Sepik and bring the Gospel to those who have never heard it their own heart language.
-More laborers to minister to the Bena people.
