We are enjoying our time here in Nova Scotia and have settled in, enjoyed a lot of rest, spoken at a lot of churches, met new friends and connected with a lot of supporters. Next week we will head back to MA for three weeks to visit family, speak at a church as well as start some prenatal care for Beth in MA where we will deliver the baby! We are excited to see family and friends again in MA… and we think that perhaps there will be no snow when we drive south on May 19th. 🙂 We also have the opportunity to speak at a Christian School in New Brunswick where Jacob attended when he was little and hang out with the people at the church for the weekend! It will be a long drive down, but good news… the ferry opens soon so we can take the ferry back here to Nova Scotia on June 16th! Instead of a three day drive, we will only be traveling for one day! Nice!!
God has been so faithful and patient to take care of us and encourage us over the last couple months, showing us so much about who He has made us. Each of us is made different than anyone else, but on purpose, for God’s purpose and glory. We had the opportunity to go to the Missionary Health Institute in Toronto, ON at the beginning of May to have a few debriefs of the happenings of PNG as well as some medical exams and tests. This was recommended to us by NTM and we were thankful for the opportunity. Beth was able to have her first ultrasound at 14 weeks and all is well. We continue to enjoy much needed rest and processing time in between speaking at churches, meeting with supporters and taking care of our family’s needs.
Thank you all for praying for us as we adjust to life in North America and share what God is doing in the Sepik of Papua New Guinea. Please let us know if you would like us to stop in for a visit while we are home. Or if you would like us to share in your church, small group or Sunday school class.
