Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Weekend from Papua New Guinea! We hope you all are enjoying blessings from God with family and friends! We just celebrated yesterday with a good friend by eating some delicious food! We even enjoyed a turkey this year along with sweet potato, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans with bacon, steamed carrots and scones. And for dessert all natural, gluten free apple pie and strawberry ice cream pie. We are still enjoying the leftovers!
We also wanted to say “Thank You!” for praying and giving towards our financial needs. God is starting to provide and we are very excited to continue to watch Him as he provides our needs over the next 6 months!!
And also a very exciting thing to be praying about RIGHT NOW! Here is an expert from Jon and Jen Myers email update….
For
so many years now, we have been praying that God would prepare their hearts for
His truth, and over the months we have seen the many ways He has been doing
it. Many of the Kaje are believing in Jesus as their deliverer
now, but they haven’t heard yet how He will deliver them. Monday and
Tuesday (Sunday and Monday for those in the US) morning, the Kaje will be
hearing about Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection. Words can’t
express, the excitement we feel, as these days approach.
Its thanksgiving in the states as I write this and our hearts are overwhelmed
with thankfulness to our God who has sustained us these past months. We have been
in awe of His power, might, and love for the world as we have seen him work in
hearts here.
Thank you for praying!!
