God provided a place

June 17, 2021 by James Christensen

I lived eight months at the training center and it never quite felt like home. For the first few months in Wisconsin, I felt even more out of place. Now, God has provided a little townhouse for Ely and I to live in for the first few months of marriage before we move to our first assignment in Sanford, FL. A family from church was able to provide the furnished house as a temporary place, and I’ve moved in. Already, it feels like home! As I show it off a little bit, rejoice with me in the unfailing provision of God!

Dining room, table covered with notes
The dining room is currently in use as a place for wedding planning.
Kitchen
A small kitchen, well equipped, but that pan is too big for one person.
living room, with fish tank under the TV
Ely found a piece of furniture perfect for putting a fish tank on.

Already, I’ve been able to pass on a little of that blessing by having friends over. Ely has been able to use it as a place to meet with her friends, we’ve invited friends over for lunch, and another friend needed a place to stay for the night.
