How long have you known?

Have you ever considered what it would be like had the fall of mankind not taken place? It seems virtually impossible to imagine. No sin, no pain, no suffering, no fear, no anger, no hatred. Most importantly, perfect fellowship with the Creator God of the universe. Imagine this for a moment: absolute 100% perfection. Wow, what that must have been like! But as we know, the fall of mankind had a drastic affect on humanity from that point forward. Every single one of us has been affected by that choice. Romans 5:12 says, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned…” Whether you choose to recognize it or not friends, you’ve been impacted by the choice that Adam and Eve made to step out in disobedience to God. And not just you, but your neighbor, people in other countries and cultures, and also people in unreached people groups. We are not just talking about a hypothetical group of people. We are talking about real individuals with names of their own. People who are stepping out into eternity, separated from God, because of the choice of one man. Recognizing this truth should send shivers down your spine. How long have we known the truth and stood idly by? What are you living for?
