“in HIS presence … “

“We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”   2 Corinthians 5:8

Thank you for praying for us over these summer months.  It was a joy to be home in NE with family.  Jared and I saw it as orchestrated by God.  It was hard to see my (Diana) mama so sick  with cancer but we were glad to be there with her and all my siblings.  Daily we made “memories” and it was neat to see all of us working together in one household.

My mamas’ home-going happened on July 14^th, but before that date she was able to see and talk to all of her grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren.  The Lord, her family, and her church were priorities in her life.  She was so concerned about all of us right up to the end.

I and my siblings are honored that God chose this woman to be our mother.  We considered our lives with her pretty normal, which included ups and downs, but we also had an unwavering certainty that  she was and always would be “in our corner”.  She will be greatly missed.  She was our hero.
