Excitement ran high as the Senior Banquet event arrived. As I thought about those seniors whom we had gotten to know I realized that their physical time with us was coming to a close. They would soon be heading off in many different directions.
During the evening many shared that they hadn’t wanted to come to Bible School because they already knew about the Bible. But they came anyway and the time here had changed their lives. They realized that they didn’t know as much as they had thought. Some days were hard and they found themselves struggling, and some days they were victorious in their walk with Him.
They learned that God is faithful and that He does care and provide for them. They have seen that for themselves. So now … the dreaded two long years (that seemed like an eternity when they first got here) has quickly passed and soon the “good-byes” will come. Pray for our seniors that they would continue to seek HIM in all things and trust HIM to lead and guide in their futures.
And for us … we feel blessed to have a part in what GOD is doing in the lives of these students!
