Making Memories

We are always thankful for the time that we have with our adult children but making memories with grand-babies is indescribable.

Jared and I recently had the utmost joy in making memories again in our home with our grand-daughter, Ariah, and her mama, as her daddy was out of state for some reserve training.

Although we have not been with our grandsons for quite some time we do see them on Skype once in a while.  They are growing up so fast and the things that they are accomplishing in their growth are amazing.  Our oldest, Aiden (almost 3 years) called and sang the ABC song for me the other day and when I repeated it back to him … he laughed and laughed.  I guess hearing and knowing that his grandma knows the same song tickled his funny bone. His laughter warmed my heart!  And little Callen is getting ready to crawl!

Our hearts are blessed as we see and hear of them learning and trying new things.  We love to hear their little voices sing songs and clapping our hands in excitement when they accomplish something new is a definite “must”.  As we continue to move into this new role of being grandparents pray that we will do it well.
