This past month, since his injury with the scissors lift at school, Jared has been quite frustrated. He is not used to being dependent on others for too much help so asking me to tie his shoes or cut his food has been humbling.
This “season of limitations” has been stretching for him and he is very thankful that the injury to his hand has had little or no pain. Although his hand swells daily, his physical therapy is going well and the doctors are pleased with the progress. They gave him a strength test and in a month’s time the therapist was able to measure the improvement – as noted in the title of this news clip – for which we are praising HIM for!
He is faithful in doing all his exercises. He even chills the “putty” to force a tighter squeeze for his hand! Please pray that Jared will “rest” in this healing season and continue to trust HIM for what HE has for him in this!
