Last week we had our first staff meeting of the new school year! A devotional was shared that focused on discipleship and we were encouraged to continue to invest well into the lives of our students.
Why do we do discipleship? Because we want to challenge their thinking, based on the word of God. Because we want to inspire them in their walk with the Lord. Because we want to create vision in their lives and remind them that God wants to use them. And, because we want to validate them as a person … to listen to them, to pray for them, to encourage them, and to remind them that they are loved by God.
Pray for us … that we will continue to do just that … invest well!
