As we began this month of September, we thought we had it altogether. Our calendar looked manageable … it was set … but then “things” started happening … and the calendar was full!
There were a lot of activities and events, rearranging of work schedules and being hospitable to new families. We even had the joy of attending one of our dear co-worker’s daughters’ wedding. That event was beautiful and bittersweet because we then had to say “good-bye” to that family, as they have now moved to our Home Office and into a new ministry.
And in all this busyness, Jared found himself wearing a lot of different “hats” which reminded us of Paraguay. It was all good … in fact, it was very good … because when we are taken out of our comfort zone and stretched in areas that are unknown, then we lean more into Him … and that is a very good place to be!
