Business First

July 5, 2017 by Jared and Carol Kresge

This post is a little late in coming, but business first:  New Tribes Mission has officially changed its name to Ethnos360.  The decision for such a significant change was years in the making, and the reason for it is to expand the reach of this organization, rather than allowing a thing as simple as a name to be a barrier to potential ministry.

The vision and ministry of Ethnos360 (formerly NTM) remains the same: a thriving church for every people group.  Our personal ministry (currently language training, with the goal toward service in aviation) also remains exactly the same.  Honestly, ninety percent of the time we forget about the name change ourselves, although we’re trying to train our minds and tongues to adapt to the new lingo.  (To make it even more confusing, NTM Aviation has not yet changed its name…)

Don’t be confused, don’t be skeptical…if you ever receive email or snail mail communications from Ethnos360, that’s us!  If you are on our support team, checks should be made payable to Ethnos360, but if you forget, checks written to NTM can still be processed.  Also, the mission website has changed to ethnos360.org, but again, if you type in “ntm,” you will be automatically redirected.  Truly, the only things that have changed are the name and the logo.

Transitions are always tricky, and we thank you for hanging in there with us through this minor one.  We pray that it may all be ultimately for God’s glory.
