Dear Missiona-ries

September 12, 2013 by Jerry and Joyce McDaniels

The variety of our work is perfect for someone like me who doesn’t like to do the same thing day after day! Joyce and I just returned from a quick trip to IL to thank financial partners and to visit with family. One of the special things that we were able to do was speak in a Christian school. This third grader deserves an A, don’t you think? He summed up well what we do and the reason we do it!

We are happily keeping busy with projects that range from the literacy training that new missionaries receive, training literacy consultants on the fields, evaluating literacy programs, and developing resources to be used in all the above areas. We are thankful for several weeks to work from our office and move these things forward. Next month we will be traveling to Canada to help with the training of missionary candidates. And then in November will be the annual Kuna conference in Panama. We appreciate your prayers for the many preparations involved in each of these which are part of helping people all around the world read their Bibles!
