Family fun

Our hearts are full and overflowing as we have begun this new year. We had such a special Christmas and were able to have fun, relaxed times with all three of our kids and their families. We’re not sure that we’ll ever get all the powdered sugar cleaned up from making cookies with the grandchildren, but what does that really matter? For updated pictures of the family, look on our photo tab in the album called ‘Family.’
Medical bills paid in FULL
God has provided in incredible ways to pay off Jerry’s medical and dental bills in full. We are completely humbled and in awe of our God who sees and hears. Jerry continues to heal from his back surgery and can do pretty much everything but run. He still has a some pain as the nerves heal, but the surgery was a great success. The final steps of his major dental surgeries will be completed in March. Many thanks to all of you who have prayed and given during the medical bumps of last year! We feel so loved and cared for.
Ministry plans for 2019
We are really looking forward to several months without travels! It’s just the way the schedule worked this year that our busy months are June to November when we will have one trip after another. But until then we will be home working on so many projects like following up with teams and consultants that we’ve worked with, finishing the step-by-step instructions for literacy software, revising the mission’s Literacy Manual and getting ready for upcoming trips.
